This 18 X 24 poster supports the messages given in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and Center for Disease Control for persons with high blood pressure or at risk for high blood pressure
Target population: In English, for audiences who must reduce sodium to 1500 mg: over half of the adults in this country - those who are over 51, who have hypertension or prehypertension or those who are at risk including African Americans, those with diabetes or kidney disease. The guideline is less than 2300 with 1500 being optimal. Most people get 3400 mg per day!
